The harmony of colors. Harmony of color (in painting "color") - a pattern of various combinations of colors, balance of warm and cool colors.

Chromatic circle. It is recognized that there are three primary colors - red, yellow, blue. Other colors are their derivatives. All of them can be conventionally divided into two color schemes: warm and conditionally suspended cold.Consider the chromatic circle. Conventionally cold range: cold green, blue, indigo, violet, red chilly.

Auxiliary color.

Supporting  colors have two very important properties for us. First, when you are closer, they are mutually reinforcing. Second, when applied at each other, they mutually cancel each other.

Examples of gain (plus - well, minus - bad):

1) gold ornaments on a blue or purple dress (+), 
2) green eyes and red lipstick, clothes (+) 
3) blue eyes and gray, orange, pink make-up (+), 
4) green, olive green, and red skin lipstick, clothes (-) 
5) close vascular net and green clothing (-) 
6) tired red eyes and green cosmetics (ink, pencil, eye shadow) (-) 
7) yellow teeth and purple lipstick (-); 
8) yellow skin of the face and blue, purple clothing (-).
